demand for Talent Management software and our recognition of Taleo as a
leader in this space we are now supporting Taleo applications in a joint
initiative with our partners at Virtual IT, Inc.
eHRMS and Virtual IT leverages our HR know how and delivery of core
HRIS solutions with our new breed of consultants that have gained their
Taleo knowledge as former employees of Taleo or as administrators of Taleo
for major Fortune 1000 companies.

In most cases, Taleo is a “best of breed” add on to a company’s
core HRIS system. Therefore, they may not have the internal resources to
get the most out of their product investment. Our support solution allows
companies IT and HRIS resources to focus on their core HRIS system, but
still have access to Taleo specialists to configure new or maintenance
existing functionality, create reports, program Taleo Connect Client (TCC)
interfaces and advise on functional best practices.
As those currently using Taleo software products understand,
there are things that Taleo, as a hosted software vendor, will have to do
for you such as Passport integrations and certain initial implementation
tasks. However, for many companies, keeping up with ongoing maintenance
and fully utilizing the system can take up the time of one or more full
time resources. Not to mention the cost of training when those resources
turnover. Furthermore, with the rollout of Taleo Connect Client integrations
and a more advanced reporting platform in XIR, many administrators, which
in many cases are recruiters, don’t have the technical skills.
We believe that Taleo does a good job at supporting the application and
ensuring it works as configured. However, the client’s responsibility is
to be able to configure that application to get the most out of their
investment. It is not practical or cost effective to engage Taleo
Consulting Services for day to day maintenance tasks and they may not be
flexible in their delivery for smaller incremental changes to
configuration. |
